Many are linking engineering teams around the globe to take advantage of skills in different geographies, ensuring they are cost-competitive, and collaborating more closely with customers and partners to bring the right products to market.
The director of IT at a multibillion-dollar global electronics manufacturer says, "Time-to-deliver and being competitive on a global level are our two biggest challenges. How fast can we get a product to the market from the inception of the thought, through this whole process?"
